here is a little peek at what I've been sewing today
The chenille backing is so soft, I love it! I had to add a few tags for baby to find. This was easier than I thought it would be. The two peices are 36" square. One side is flannel and one is the chenille. You sew the two squares right sides together, leaving a 6" gap for turning. Turn, press, then sew a 1/4" seam around the outside. I threw in the two tag pieces where my gap for turning was and there you have it, a blankie. I could've added some applique or patchwork peices but I have so much more sewing to do.
*** I prewashed both fabrics to avoid any shrinking disasters
