Love his music, been listening to it all week. I've been doing quite a bit of sewing lately and made my first sale in my shop! Alright!
Ok, my first dress sewn by me. It is Butterick's B5351 "fast and easy".
The pattern was mostly simple to follow. I used size 14 and it fits well (sizes from a pattern are much different from your normal dress size, I learned that the hard way). Please excuse the bad lighting when this picture was taken. I should've waited for daytime light but I finished this dress late and couldn't wait. I'm happy with the outcome although it is more formal than my normal everyday wear.

Pattern credit is due to Keyka Lou Patterns. This is the pocket clutch in Nicey Jane fabric from Heather Bailey. I love the geometric design of the print. It can definetly hold its own. The patern was most easy to follow and came out perfectly. We are off to brave the cold winter weather, although we are happy not to be getting snow today.
